Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture from the identity provider you sign in with (Google or Microsoft).
• Connected-account data, only with your explicit consent via OAuth:
  • Gmail / Outlook mail — messages, metadata, and labels — to show a unified inbox, draft and send mail, and power the AI features you invoke.
  • Google / Microsoft Calendar — events — to show your schedule and create or edit events.
• Content you create — meeting recordings and transcripts, AI summaries, tasks, pages, messages, and reminders.
• Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use your data solely to provide and improve the features you use: unified mail and calendar, meeting transcription and summaries, task and page management, team messaging, reminders, and the AI assistant. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

AI processing

To generate summaries, draft replies, answer questions, and transcribe meetings, the relevant content is sent to our AI processors (Anthropic and OpenAI) strictly to perform the requested task and return the result to you. These providers process the data under their terms and do not use data submitted through their APIs to train their models.

Google user data — Limited Use

Veloshe's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Veloshe interface.
• We do not transfer or sell Google user data for advertising, or for any purpose unrelated to those features.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless: (a) you give explicit consent for specific messages; (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse; (c) to comply with applicable law; or (d) the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secured servers. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, access is restricted and authenticated, and data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Data retention and deletion

You can disconnect any connected account at any time in the app (Mail → Manage accounts), which removes our stored tokens and revokes our access. You can delete content (meetings, tasks, pages, and so on) within the app. You can export your data and permanently delete your account and associated data yourself in Settings → Data & account — no request needed. You can also contact us at privacy@veloshe.ai. Email content removed from the AI search index is deleted promptly when you disable that feature.

We retain your data only while your account is active. When you delete content or your account, it is removed from our active systems immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days. Disconnecting a connected account immediately deletes our stored tokens and revokes our access at the provider (e.g. Google), so we can no longer reach that account's mail or calendar.

Third parties

We rely on service providers to operate Veloshe, including cloud hosting and the AI processors named above. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Your choices

• Disconnect connected accounts at any time (Mail → Manage accounts).
• Toggle whether email is included in AI search (Settings → Privacy).
• Export your data or delete your account yourself (Settings → Data & account).
• Or request access or deletion at privacy@veloshe.ai.

Children

Veloshe is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
